Miley Cyrus has laughed off the rumor that she is engaged to Liam Hemsworth. Asked to clarified about the circulating engagement rumor on the red carpet of the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, the 17-year-old told Ryan Seacrest that she bought the ring herself as she also slammed down possibility of it being a promise ring.
Miley Cyrus has set tongue wagging when Hollywood Life brought into view a photo of the "Hannah Montana" star wearing a sparkler on her left ring finger. The news came out a short while after the story that she and Liam Hemsworth are sharing roof in the Cyrus family home became media headlines recently.
Soon after the photo came out, Miley's representative has come out with a denial by simply telling Life & Style magazine, "She is not engaged." E! News at the time still noted that an insider has claimed although the actress is yet to be betrothed, she is "totally in love" and thinks the 19-year-old actor is "the one." The source reportedly adding that the star of "Hannah Montana" sees herself "marrying young, but not at 17."
