The man-on-man kiss between the 'I Love You Phillip Morris' co-stars happens after the two are named knights in the prestigious National Order of Arts and Letters by Minister of Culture in France.
Playing lovers in "
I Love You Phillip Morris" apparently made it easier for
Jim Carrey and
Ewan McGregor to share a kiss for public to watch. On Monday, February 1, the leading man of "
Yes Man" and the star of "
Angels & Demons"two actors have been captured on camera swapping spits while in Paris, France.
On the particular day, the two Hollywood actor were present at the Ministry of Culture to accept the "Chevalier Des Arts Et Des Lettres" honors as they were named knights in the prestigious National Order of Arts and Letters. During their knighthood session, Minister of Culture Frederic Mitterand reportedly declared, "I love you Jim Carrey! I love you Ewan McGregor!"
Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor were together in The City of Light to promote their upcoming drama "I Love You Phillip Morris". In the movie to be released in limited U.S. theaters on March 26, Carrey takes the role of a con man who falls in love with McGregor's sensitive inmate character named Phillip Morris, and subsequently attempts escape after escape in the name of love.
