The 'Twilight Saga' stars have reportedly been told to take their romance down a notch since their managers worry that the alleged couple will get distracted.
Words on the street are,
Robert Pattinson and
Kristen Stewart have been told to put their romantic relationship aside and focus on their upcoming movies. Soon after E! News ran a story noting that the alleged couple has taken their romance down a notch, an insider stepped forward to provide clarification to the story.
"Let's just say Rob and Kristen got a slap on the wrist," the insider told E!. "Everyone, from their management to the studios involved in their upcoming movies, is worried [Rob and Kristen] will start to become...distracted." Explaining further on the pair's status, the publication noted, "Rob and Kristen are still together and totally cool. But they are both listening to what their teams are telling them, which is to stay focused."
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been continually hit with reports about their alleged off-screen romance ever since they filmed "
Twilight". The two were often spotted hanging out together, and caught holding hands during their outings together. The 23-year-old actor previously admitted that he auditioned for "Twilight" just to meet 19-year-old Stewart. "The only reason I went to the audition was to see Kristen, because I'd just seen '
Into the Wild'," he recalled.
Pattinson and Stewart will be seen as on-screen lovers once again in "
The Twilight Saga's Eclipse". The Edward Cullen depicter has several feature projects under his belt, including "
Remember Me" and "
Bel Ami", while his co-star awaits for the release of her upcoming movies, "
The Runaways" and "
Welcome to the Rileys".
