The sister of socialite Kim Kardashian is ordered to pay the court $200 after a Los Angeles judge canceled a warrant for her arrest stemming from her unpaid speeding ticket.
Khloe Kardashian has been given a lucky break by a judge in a Los Angeles court. TMZ reported on Tuesday, February 2 that the reality TV star has managed to escape arrest stemming from her unpaid seven-year-old speeding ticket after the judge ordered the TV personality to pay $200 in court costs.
In 2003, the sister of
Kim Kardashian prompted the authorities to issue a bench warrant for her arrest after she forgot to settle the traffic fine on times. When she was arrested for DUI back in 2007 however, the warrant failed to appear on her criminal record. It finally showed up on her record after a transvestite filed a police report in December 2009 leading to her being summoned to court.
Accompanied by her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, Khloe Kardashian appeared before the judge on February 2 on her own will. The judge decided to recall the warrant and dismiss the ticket, but giving her the order to pay for the court cost.
As for her problem with the transvestite, the 25-year-old socialite allegedly punched the transgender male outside the Playhouse nightclub in Hollywood, California. The fight erupted after the tranny reportedly told Khloe's Los Angeles Lakers forward husband
Lamar Odom he was "too young to be married". It has also reported that the police sided with Khloe over the fight.
