No longer up to take on the role of young Tommy on the ABC drama, the lead singer of Jonas Brothers is replaced by 'Make It or Break It' actor Cody Longo.
The plans on having
Joe Jonas as a guest star on "Brothers & Sisters" apparently have fallen through. Michael Ausiello of has just brought up the news that the one-third of the
Jonas Brothers could no longer be expected to portray a younger version of
Balthazar Getty's Tommy because of his schedules.
An insider informed Ausiello that the brother of
Kevin Jonas and
Nick Jonas missed out the TV stint because he "had a scheduling conflict". The 20-year-old will be replaced by "Make It or Break It" actor Cody Longo, who recently tweeted about the part, "Meeting with Balthazar Getty today to prep and recur as a younger him on Brothers & Sisters".
E! News previously reported that Joe has been tapped as guest star on "Brothers & Sisters". It went on to detail that the "
Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" actor will be seen in a two-episode flashback arc that focuses on the history of the Walker Family, and joined by Kay Panabaker, Anna Wood and Kasey Campbell.
Joe Jonas first tries on his acting skills in an episode of "Hannah Montana" in 2007. Having landed the lead role in "
Camp Rock", he moved on with a Disney Channel Original Series "J.O.N.A.S!". He along with brothers Kevin and Nick are expected to start filming the series second season sometime next week.
