Words are, the 'Bruno' star and his actress fiancee have sent out party invites to 80 guests asking them to keep February 26 free and have reserved several U.K. venues.
Report that
Sacha Baron Cohen and fiancee
Isla Fisher have already set a wedding date is likely to be a true one. The Mail on Sunday newspaper has recently reported that the "
Bruno" actor and the "
Confessions of a Shopaholic" beauty could be walking down the aisle comes February 26.
The publication made note that the couple who has been engaged since 2004 has sent out party invitations to 80 guest telling those people to keep the particular date free. "Sacha and Isla are throwing a party. They have asked everyone to come in fancy dress," a source was quoted as saying. "They haven't told the guests it's a wedding but that's what we all suspect."
Mail on Sunday also reported that Cohen and Fisher have reserved several venues in their effort to keep the real location a secret. While the pair allegedly hasn't make any final decision on a venue, they have made a number of enquiries and bookings using assumed names. Should the two indeed got married on the date, their wedding day will coincide with the Jewish festival of Purim.
Back in December, British magazine Heat came out with a story that the couple will tie the knot in May or June 2010 in a small private ceremony in London. "Isla and Sacha want a small wedding that will include only family and their closest friends - possibly fewer than 50 people," a source was quoted by the magazine at the time.
Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher have been together for about eight years. On October 19, 2007, the twosome welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Olive Cohen. In the same year, 34-year-old Fisher converted to Cohen's religion, Judaism, and took a Hebrew name, Ayala.
UPDATE: A representative for Sacha Baron Cohen has slammed report that the comedian will be tying the knot with Isla Fisher this February. To Gossip Cop, the rep insisted, "They're having a Purim party. That is all."
