As the Helping Haiti single is made available for download, a music video in support of the track is brought out for viewing pleasure.
"Everybody Hurts", the Helping Haiti single produced by Simon Cowell, has got its official music video. Nearly six minutes long, it opens with a statement of what had happened on January 12 and moves on with footage showing the devastation in the country and the suffering of the Haitian.
The music video came out the same day the charity track was made available for digital download on Sunday, February 7. Presenting a look at the musicians covering R.E.M.'s 1992 classic, it sees in black and white, Leona Lewis, Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey and Miley Cyrus among many others recording the song in the studio.
Of the recording of the song, Simon Cowell previously told Sky News, "We have a short time to do this but already we are getting some fantastic support." The "American Idol" judge added, "Right now this is an absolute priority for us all. The people of Haiti need as much help as we can give them as soon as possible. Every day the situation becomes more desperate."
