Slamming rumors suggesting he went berserk over plane seating, the 'Love Lockdown' hitmaker writes on his official blog that the story is not true and he 'was actually happy with a business class seat
"Stronger" hitmaker
Kanye West has denied reports suggesting he threw tantrum over plane seating at the Los Angeles International Airport on Monday night, February 1. The rapper recently made use of his official blog to slam the story, insisting that he was actually happy with his seat arrangement.
"I feel bad that people believe this kind of stuff or any random rumor that is taken as fact because 'it's on the Internet'. This rumor is particularly ironic because I was actually happy with a business class seat and was offered a seat in first class," West wrote on February 5. "A friend of mine was sitting in coach so asked if they could bump him up to business instead of putting me in first. There was absolutely no altercation in any way."
"There's been many a time where I've given someone in coach my business or first class seat in order to sit next to a friend I bumped into. I really could care less (sic) about where I sit on the plane. It's hard to deal with the rumors sometimes," his statement further read. "As a good person with a warm heart, it does bother me. I'm not bigger than feeling pain, embarrassment, stress and worry. Have you ever been lied??? How does it make you feel??? You wanna tell everybody it's not true right?"
The boyfriend of model
Amber Rose ended his message by thanking those who still love and support him. "Thank you to all my fans who still love and support me even though it's not the trend right now! I'm sleeping in the studio and I won't let you guys down," the hip-hop singer wrote toward the end of his posting.
The New York Post reported on February 3 that Kanye West went berserk on Monday, February 1 when he found out that he and his assistant were seated in business class instead of first on a flight from Los Angeles to New York. An eyewitness simply mentioned, "He wanted to be bumped up." The eyewitness further added that the "Heartless" hitmaker eventually got what he demanded.
