The Barbadian singer shares first looks at the music video for her new single off 'Rated R' with these six promo pictures taken from the set.
Rihanna has filmed a music video for her single "Rude Boy", and first looks at how the video will look like have been shared through promo pictures. Six in all, the photos capture the "Russian Roullete" hitmaker on the set of the video shoot as she poses with zebra and different set of colorful clothing.
All of the pictures display a giant green screen in the background. One of them sees the Barbadian singer sitting on a statue of a zebra, another one presents her in a costume that has a Jamaican feel, and two others expose her standing behind a drum set with drum sticks on hands. The remaining two others picture her in a gold net outfit.
The 21-year-old singer has previously stated on how this music video will be different from her previous clips. "A lot of my videos are really dark and edgy and tough," she explained. " 'Rude Boy' is more playing along the lines from my roots. We used a lot of color, but also the costumes were very Jamaican dance-hall queen type."
"Rude Boy" is another single taken from Rihanna's "Rated R". Its accompanying music video is directed by Melina Matsoukas, who served as the helmer of the singer's "Hard" clip. This new video will be debuted on Thursday, February 11 on VEVO.
