Clarifying earlier report, a representative for the 'Kill the Lights' hitmaker has come out with a statement insisting that the singer visited the hospital 'for an annual physical'.
Reports suggesting
Britney Spears has been rushed to an emergency room of a Los Angeles hospital have been denied. A representative for the "Womanizer" hitmaker has told X17 Online that the 28-year-old singer made the trip to the hospital on Monday afternoon, February 8 only for a routine checkup.
To the publication, Spears' representative reassured that the "Circus" hitmaker is in perfect health. "Everything is fine," the spokesperson clarified before elaborating on the reason behind the mother of two's hospital visitation. "Britney is there for an annual physical."
Words of Britney Spears being rushed to the hospital surfaced after X17's photographers claimed to have spotted the singer being driven by her bodyguards to UCLA Medical Center's Mattel Children's Hospital in Westwood, California. Although she was reported heading to the children's wing of the hospital, her children were not seen inside the car.
The photographers went on to mention that the sister of
Jamie Lynn Spears was accompanied by other two cars and a police escort, which was said to have been pre-planned. They also added that the singer along with her little convoy didn't appear to move in a way that would suggest an emergency at the time.
