Bandslam" will be presented with an honor at 2010 ShoWest.
Joining the girlfriend of teen star
Zac Efron in receiving the special award is
Alex Pettyfer, her co-star in the upcoming fantasy romance film "
Beastly". While Hudgens is named ShoWest Female Stars of Tomorrow, the 19-year-old actor will be handed out with the honor as the Male Stars of Tomorrow.
Vanessa Hudgens and Alex Pettyfer will be presented with the honor on Thursday, March 18. ShoWest managing director Robert Sunshine stated that the two have been chosen because they are "outstanding young talents". ShoWest itself is an event exclusively for the cinema exhibition and distribution community. The event will be kicked off on March 15 at the Bally's and Paris hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada.
