Words are, the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls and the 'Down' hitmaker met at the taping of 'The Sing Off' finale, but they didn't end up together until they got into the studio recently.

Lewis Hamilton. The lead singer of
The Pussycat Dolls, according to Us Magazine, has quietly hooked up with another British celebrity and her rumored collaborator for debut solo album,
Jay Sean.
Citing an insider, Us reported that Scherzinger first met Sean at the taping of the finale of NBC's "The Sing Off", where the 31-year-old singer served as a guest judge and the "Down" hitmaker gave surprise performance with the winning group. However, the two didn't go further than exchanging their contact info since the "Baby Love" singer was still in relationship with Hamilton.
"They exchanged [BlackBerry Messenger contact info] and since they are so busy and she was in a relationship, they kept in touch via BBM over the holidays and were just able to finally meet up in Miami a few weeks ago," the insider went into details. "He went down to rehearse and meet up with her."
The source moreover added that it was in the studio in Miami that things got even steamier between the two, adding "It's very new." A representative for Scherzinger, however, insisted that the relationship between the two is more than work-related. "They've been working on a song together," the spokesperson stated. "It's strictly professional." Sean's rep, on the other hand, remained mum.
Back in January, Nicole Scherzinger and Jay Sean teased on for her forthcoming first studio album through a broadcast on Ustream live. While neither of them mentioned nor confirmed what they were working on, they promised something big is about to happen. They also offered fans a tour in The Hit Factory studios where big stars like
Mariah Carey recorded their hit singles.
