Jennifer Aniston: Gerard Butler Is an 'Unpretentious Guy'

When asked in an interview about her co-star in 'The Bounty Hunter' with whom she has been spotted getting cozy, the former 'Friends' star has nothing but praises, saying 'He's just fun.'

Having sparked speculation on the status of her relationship with Gerard Butler, Jennifer Aniston recently explained her affection for him. In a multi-part interview with Billy Bush, which began airing on Tuesday, February 9, the 40-year-old actress stated that her co-star in "The Bounty Hunter" is "the most unpretentious guy".

"We just had so much fun together you know. He's just fun," the Beth Murphy of "He's Just Not That Into You" explained when asked about the 40-year-old actor. Stating that she had a great time working with the "300" star, she added, "He's a guys guy, but he's absolutely the most lovely and sort of self-deprecating and just what you see is what you get. We look at work the same way...we always had each other's back."

The "Marley & Me" star also addressed why she chose Mexico to celebrate her 41st birthday, which her friend organized. "He said to me, 'You come to Mexico all the time and Mexico is really hurting right now because of the swine flu and the drug trafficking and all of this sort of stuff but it's not all of Mexico,' " she said.

"These people survive on us coming down and spending money and coming here to these beautiful places," the former wife of Brad Pitt continued on. "It sort of made sense to sort of say 'Hey, let's help out Mexico.' Let's shout out to these kids in Tijuana at El Faro and you know, have a big...that's sort of our birthday celebration this year."

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler have been linked romantically ever since they got together for the filming of "The Bounty Hunter". The speculations were growing that they are an item after they were seen acting very affectionate and flirty toward each other at the 67th Golden Globe Awards. He was recently seen joining her in Los Cabos, Mexico for her birthday celebration.
