In a recent interview, the 'Alice in Wonderland' actress comes out with a modest assessment of herself, 'I think I've got really weird features. I have very large features on a very small head.'
Despite the fact that she has been named as one of the People Magazine world's 50 Most Beautiful People in 2006,
Anne Hathaway apparently still finds flaws in her features. To the March issue of In Style magazine, the 27-year-old actress recently come out with a humble statement of her "weird features".
"I think I've got really weird features," the Academy Award-nominated actress confessed in an interview for the mag, which March issue is set to hit the U.S. shelves on Friday, February 12. Elaborating her statement further, the "
Rachel Getting Married" actress explained, "I have a very large features on a very small head."
Despite the imperfections, the "Devil Wears Prada" actress confessed she is not going to feel sorry about it. "But, you know, I'm not going to beat myself up...," the girlfriend of Adam Shulman said, before adding that authenticity is more important than being pretty. "I look like myself, and I think at the end of the day, as nice as pretty is, authenticity is more important," she said.
Though saying that authenticity is important, the "
Becoming Jane" actress still believes in keeping up her appearance. "If I don't work out at all, I have too much curve and no tone, which is not OK. It's about finding balance," she stated. She further added that she also loves "going out in high heels and dressing up and glamming it up."
Anne Hathaway will be seen in theaters across the U.S. as the White Queen in Tim Burton's "
Alice in Wonderland" when the movie comes out March 5. In the fantasy movie, she is supported by
