A rep for ABC has confirmed that the supermodel has been brought on board the comedy drama series along with Paulina Porizkova for a guest spot in a March episode.
will get an encounter with the ladies of Wisteria Lane. According to E! Online, a representative for ABC has confirmed that the host/judge of "Project Runway" has signed on as a guest star on "Desperate Housewives". The 36-year-old will be playing herself in an episode scheduled to air in March.
In the episode, the wife of singer
Seal will run into
Eva Longoria's Gaby, who is a former model, and
Drea de Matteo's Angie in New York City. While the episode is set in the Big Apple, the filming will be done in Los Angeles. Joining her for the guest stint is model and former "America's Next Top Model" judge,
Paulina Porizkova.
This "Desperate Housewives" gig won't be the first time Heidi Klum guest-starred as herself in a TV series. She was seen earlier in such series as "Spin City", "Sex and the City", "CSI: Miami" and "How I Met Your Mother". She also has made an appearance in several feature films, such as "
Ella Enchanted" and "
The Devil Wears Prada".
