'The reports of gunfire during Beyonce's concert in Brazil that allegedly ended her show early are totally false,' the songstress' representative says when denying earlier reports.
Soon after reports were swirling around that gunfire broke out during
Beyonce Knowles' concert in Brazil, a representative for the songstress came forward to deny such incident ever happening. To Us Magazine, the rep stated, "The reports of gunfire during Beyonce's concert in Brazil that allegedly ended her show early are totally false."
The rep didn't only did slam report suggesting that the "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" hitmaker's recent gig has been disrupted by gun battle, but also insisted that no incident took place during her Brazilian tour. "Beyonce played to record crowds on her recent tour in Brazil without incident, including an audience of 60,000 in Sao Paulo on Saturday, February 6 and two sold-out shows in Rio on February 7 and 8," the rep added.
It was reported previously that fans leaving the Parque de Exposicoes venue, where Beyonce Knowles performed in Salvador on Wednesday, February 10, was forced to run for cover when a gun battle broke out outside the 30,000-people-capacity stadium. Britain's Daily Star claimed that a group of youth opened fire on partygoers waiting for taxis home, and got the police to return fire.
