Instead of moving on with the next James Bond movie, the actor who has portrayed the 007 agent twice before is said focusing on his other silver screen project 'Dream House'.
The next installment of "Bond" series might be hitting theaters a bit behind schedule. It has recently been reported that
Daniel Craig, the actor who has been portraying James Bond in the last two installment of the super spy series, has delayed the shooting of "Bond 23" to focus on another silver screen project.
According to WENN, the delay is a result of the work commitment the 41-year-old English actor has on the filming of "
Dream House". The situation reportedly has forced "Bond" producers to push back production although "
Revolutionary Road" director Sam Mendes has signed on to direct.
"The producers have been working on the script for two years and hired Sam Mendes as the director," a source told Britain's Mail On Sunday about the status of the follow-up to "
Quantum of Solace". The insider added, "They're not even close to starting filming yet."
Daniel Craig will once again reprise his role as James Bond in "Bond 23", which eyes 2011 U.S. release. Back in late 2009, the "
Defiance" actor suggested that the production of the next "Bond" movie may begin at the end of 2010. He broke out about the possible starting time when signing autographs for fans after his Broadway play "A Steady Rain".
