Another sneak peek at "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" has been shared by Disney Channel. The second "Road to" video released for the sequel of "Camp Rock" provided some of the cast's commentary on the recording process for the new songs. Demi Lovato and Alyson Stoner are among those opening up about their experiences.
"The recording process is really fun," Demi recalled. "You need to go to the studio and sing a lot of really great songs and have fun. You get really excited for singing a song and wondering what it's gonna sound like when everybody's voice are on it." Chiming in, Alyson said, "The recording process is four steps. You get the song, you practice, you show up at the recording studio and you rock it out. I have to say, rocking it out is probably my favorite part."
"Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam" revolves around Mitchie, Shane and their friends as they return to Camp Rock for another great summer of music and fun. But, they soon learn that the future of their beloved camp is put in jeopardy as a new state-of-the-art music/performance camp, Camp Star, opens across the lake. Now, they have to prepare themselves for the ultimate battle of the bands between the two camps.
Demi Lovato reprises her role as Mitchie, while Alyson Stoner is back as Caitlyn Gellar. In addition to those two, all three members of the Jonas Brothers, Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas, also return to reprise their roles. The filming that took place in Ontario, Canada was wrapped in October. The TV movie reportedly will be premiered on August 9, 2010.
