A spokesman for the Transportation Security Administration states that the undercover sky cop will not be put under investigation for revealing his identity to the 29-year-old socialite.
Despite reports suggesting that
Kim Kardashian could be putting an air marshal in trouble for exposing his identity, a spokesman for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has stated the otherwise. The spokesman told E! News that it is highly unlikely the air marshal, who was identified as "Jim" by the 29-year-old socialite, will be put under investigation for protocol violation.
"If we investigated every allegation of people playing 'go find the air marshal,' we'd be investigating a lot for no reason," TSA spokesman Nelson Minerly stated. "The federal air marshal service does not confirm what flights we travel on for security purposes." He added, "Part of our mission statement is to ensure the safety and security of the traveling public. If Kim felt she was more secure, whether or not we had an air marshal present, that's a good thing."
On Tuesday, February 16, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star wrote on her Twitter page that she was sitting next to an air marshal while she was on a flight from New York to Los Angeles. "I'm on the airplane...love wifi! I am sitting next to an Air Marshall! Jim the air marshall makes me feel safe!" the girlfriend of New Orleans Saints running back
Reggie Bush tweeted.
The tweet apparently drew several criticism. One of Kim Kardashian's Twitter followers pointed out that air marshal was supposed to remain anonymous for the safety of people on board. Upon finding out the fact, she replied, "Air Marshall's are supposed to keep their identity concealed. He did!" She added, "I am just a private eye & assumed, so I asked him & he was honest!"
