Salt" actress were "in touch, but not regularly", the father and daughter were photographed stepping out together with her large family in Venice, Italy on Sunday, February 21.
Radar Online brought to attention through the Venice Grand Canal along with
Brad Pitt and the couple's four children. In several of the photos, the "
Transformers" actor is pictured observing each of his family members getting assisted to come on board the boat.
Jolie opted to cut ties with Voight in 2001 following the "
National Treasure" actor's appearance on Access Hollywood where he pleaded the "
Changeling" actress to seek for help for her "serious mental problems". Since then, the "
Wanted (2008)" actress refused to speak to the star of "
The Manchurian Candidate" and even accused him of cheating on her late mother Marcheline Bertrand.
The seven-year feud between Angelina Jolie and Jon Voight reportedly ended in early 2009 after the two met in February. A friend of the family told Us Weekly that "Angie made the initial contact" and her life partner "Brad [Pitt] has been supportive, a key factor in her reaching out." Later in November that same year, the "
Glory Road" actor confirmed the story, adding, "We love each other and that's the most important thing."
