'Her biggest wish is to find someone who she can share her success with and support her through the difficult times,' brother Gerry says of what the Scottish singer really wants.
Susan Boyle finds fame through "Britain's Got Talent" and shoots to stardom with debut album "I Dreamed a Dream", but despite all of her success, she is reported to be desperate for boyfriend. Her brother, Gerry, told Britain's The People that the 48-year-old Scottish singer just wants to find love.
"It's just all so sad, so sad. Susan has the world at her feet in terms of fame and money but at this precise moment in time it means nothing. Absolutely nothing," Gerry said. "The one thing she wants above all everything else is love. Who doesn't? Her biggest wish is to find someone who she can share her success with and support her through the difficult times."
"Of course her family will always be there for her but it is not the same as having someone special in your life," the brother explained further. "Susan knows she can jet anywhere in the world first-class, eat in the best restaurants and stay in the top hotels but that means nothing to her if she doesn't have anyone to share those moments with. If I'm honest things aren't great for Susan at the moment on a personal level."
Susan Boyle is season three runner-up of "Britain's Got Talent", losing to street dance group Diversity. Her debut album "I Dreamed A Dream" smashed chart record, becoming the largest first-week sales for a debut album in U.K. chart history with more than 410,000 copies of the effort being sold since its release on November 23. Outselling
Rihanna,
Lady Gaga and
50 Cent, the set scored the fastest selling album of 2009.
