While promoting his upcoming action comedy 'Cop Out', the John McClane depicter also lets slip which director he wishes to work with for the fifth installment of the 'Die Hard' series.
Bruce Willis will return to reprise his bad-ass character, John McClane, in 2011. When promoting his upcoming action comedy "
Cop Out", the 54-year-old action star talked with MTV News about the future installment of "Die Hard" series, saying "I think we're going to do a 'Die Hard 5' next year."
While careful enough not to disclose any potential plotline of the fifth movie, the actor who stars as Mr. Church in "
The Expendables" did tease, "It's got to go worldwide." Asked which director he would love to work with for this project, he named the helmer of "
Live Free or Die Hard", "I would hire Len Wiseman right now."
As for taking part in "Cop Out", the
Demi Moore's ex admitted that he enjoyed taking a comedic angle on cop films. "I like so much more making fun of it, taking the piss out of it, not making it a big deal and not making the fact that I've acted in a lot of movies a big deal," he explained. "It's all illusion, and it's all bulls***. It's a great job for me to have, but everything else you can set on fire. Making people laugh is the real deal."
In "Cop Out", Bruce Willis plays Jimmy Monroe, a longtime NYPD detective whose missing collectible is his only hope to pay for his daughter's upcoming wedding. He teams up with
Tracy Morgan who stars as Paul, Jimmy's partner. The buddy cop comedy itself is due to come out in U.S. theaters this coming Friday, February 26.
