In addition to admitting her romance with the DJ surprised her, the 'Machete' actress confesses that she plans on going back dating boys if she can't win her ex-girlfriend back.
Lindsay Lohan has come out with a bold statement regarding her relationship with
Samantha Ronson. In a recent interview with Britain's The Sun, the "
Machete" actress confessed that her ex-girlfriend is the only woman for her. "If I wasn't with Samantha, I would probably be with a boy next. She's the only woman I've been attracted to," she told the tabloid.
The 23-year-old actress confessed further that she and Sam still love each other. She even came out with a suggestion that there is a possibility she might rekindle romance with Sam. "We love each other. We might reconcile the relationship, maybe. I don't know," the "
Mean Girls" actress shared, adding that her relationship with the 32-year-old DJ was "passionate".
In the interview, the "
I Know Who Killed Me" star admitted she never thought about being with a woman before meeting Sam. "I never really thought about women before, it kind of just happened with Samantha. It surprised me," she confessed. "We're still in touch. We live in the same apartment building in LA and see each other often. She has always been one of my best friends."
Asked about the split, Lindsay blames Sam's family and friends for meddling into their relationship. "There have been a lot of ups and downs. Her family is very involved in her relationships and that was difficult," the former child actress said. "I think Samantha was growing as a celebrity and a musician and I think that might have scared her family. But I've always been her biggest supporter and, yeah, I love her."
Despite being reported numerous times that the two often threw a hissy fit to each other, Lohan insisted that the fight happened because Sam's family and friends made the actress "an outcast". She further suggested that she might be "upset, or we had a tiff about something stupid" when she was snapped in tears. "A picture can tell a thousand different words and lies," she stated. "They want the negative, they want the drama. They want to say, 'Oh Lindsay's distraught, here we go again, should Sam leave?'"
Regardless all the negative rumors about Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson while they were together, the "
Georgia Rule" actress stated that she was happy with the DJ. "Mostly it was great. Everyone has ups and downs, it's normal. But in front of the public eye they're going to take the downs and make it seem like they're a million times worse," she said. "It was a big deal for me because I've never had a relationship as public as that, especially being with a girl for the first time."
