Expressing his disbelief towards the amazing sale of 'I Dreamed a Dream', the 'Whataya Want from Me' hitmaker says that the Scottish sensation's rendition of 'Wild Horses' makes him cry with laughter.
Adam Lambert has recently shared his disbelief that
Susan Boyle's "I Dreamed a Dream" could surpass the sales of his album, "For Your Entertainment". In a recent interview for the March issue of Britain's Gay Times, the "American Idol" alum slammed her debut album, dubbing it "terrible".
Addressing the matter, the 28-year-old singer said, "I know, if only it weren't for Susan Boyle! I'm happy for her success, but that album is terrible." He went on to diss one particular song he despises. "Wild Horses is the one that made me laugh the hardest," he explained. "I just died when I heard it, I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song!"
Adam Lambert's "For Your Entertainment" sold a total of 200,000 copies in its first week on sale and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 in December 2009. Meanwhile, Susan Boyle's "I Dreamed a Dream" managed to hit the top spot with a total of 701,000 units being sold. It went on to reign the chart for five consecutive weeks.
