Sharing his thought about the world's #1 golfer's recent public apology, the 'Crawl' hitmaker states that he supports him and 'people always deserve a second chance'.
Chris Brown has shared some thoughts about
Tiger Woods' recent public apology. In a recent interview with a radio show "Mojo in the Morning", the "Forever" hitmaker expressed his sympathy and support towards the 34-year-old professional golfer by stating, "My hat goes off to him. I support him. I hope he gets back on the field and does his thing because he is the best at it."
"I think people always deserve a second chance. I know my fans gave me a second chance and people gave me a second chance," Brown said as recalling his altercation with
Rihanna in 2009. "Whatever his personal life is, and I think this goes for me and him, his personal life is his personal life. Nobody has the right to place judgment or make any judgment on somebody else's personal life when they're not directly involved with them."
The "I Can Transform Ya" hitmaker additionally mentioned that personal life shouldn't be mixed with professional career and people will always love Woods for what he does professionally. "He plays golf. That's his sport, that's his hobby, that's his love, that's what people love him for. They don't love him for the other stuff that they talk about," he explained. "Even with me, I do music, I sing songs, I'm an entertainer, I'm a performer.
Brown stated further that "people make mistakes" and that "people have to realize that everybody's human". The 20-year-old singer then noted that learning from mistakes is a part of a process in becoming a better person. "The good thing is, if you learn from your mistakes, then that's a part of life," he shared. "I think that's a part of living and learning from mistakes and becoming a better person and growing from situations."
Asked if Chris Brown will pick up the phone and shares his sympathy to Tiger Woods himself, the ex-boyfriend of Rihanna answered, "I think at this point, he has a lot of that going right now." He moreover reasoned, "I'm more of a fan from the back. I don't want to place myself too far into it. As soon as I say something, they're going to put me on the front page of the news...and it's a bigger story than it needs to be, you know?"
