Serving as host and performer at February 27 episode of 'Saturday Night Live', the 'Louboutins' singer impersonates Rihanna in the skit about the sequel to the recent remake of 'We Are the World'.
Making an appearance on "Saturday Night Live" for the first time in almost a decade on Saturday, February 27, Jennifer Lopez made fun of the recent remake of "We Are the World". The 40-year-old joins the likes of Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader and many other comedians for "We Are the World 3: Raising Awareness of the We Are the World 2 Disaster".
The songstress impersonates Rihanna in the sketch introduced by Kennan Thompson, who posed as Quincy Jones. Dressed in a black and white Balmain-inspired leather jacket with hipster sunglasses and a blond cropped wig, she mocked the Barbadian singer's signature singing in the opening verse of the song. She is heard singing, "There comes a time, eh!, when we heed a certain call, eh!"
On the February 27 episode, the wife of Marc Anthony served a double duties as host as well as performer. Hence, in addition to her We Are the World" and Winter Olympics spoofs as well as a mock-up interview for her upcoming movie, she performed two songs from her upcoming album "Love?".
Opening the show, she reminisced her first time hosting the show. "The first time I was on this show was 10 years ago. ... Back then I was single and traveling around with a big entourage," she said. "But people grow up; now I'm married with two beautiful children." She then got to face Kennan Thomson who acted as her discarded entourage member, before two drag queens got on-stage.
