Showing his support for PETA's campaign against fur,
Dave Navarro gets full frontal naked. In a new ad for the "Ink, Not Mink" series which tagline reads "Be comfortable in your own skin and let animals keep theirs", the 42-year-old rocker bares the inks scattered all over his body though covers up his private part with both of his hands.
In an exclusive interview with the animal rights organization, the former husband of
Carmen Electra shares the reason why he vows never to buy or wear fur again. "[S]everal years ago, I saw video footage of animals being skinned alive and screaming, and it, it honestly is the most horrific, inhumane thing I've ever seen," he says.
The guitarist of Jane's Addiction adds that buying and wearing fur promotes cruelty and suffering.
"[S]ome of the simple things you can do to help save animals is not buy fur, stay away from products that have been animal tested," he explains. "It's really very, very simple to just support something or buy something that doesn't brutalize animals like this."
