Set as the first guest of the award-winning music series, the season eight runner-up of 'American Idol' has taped his acoustic concert for the March 10 episode.
To make its return to the small screen this month, award-winning music series "VH1 Unplugged" has selected Adam Lambert as its first guest. The season eight runner-up of "American Idol", as reported by Michelle Collins of BestWeekEver.tv, has taped his acoustic concert for the show a couple of weeks back.
The "Time for Miracles" singer will kick off the show on Wednesday, March 10, delivering songs from his debut album "For Your Entertainment" in an intimate stage. His performance will be the first of eight scheduled episodes which will present performances by Phoenix (for MTV), The Script (for VH1) and Reba McEntire (for CMT) among others.
Adam Lambert is currently in Australia, touring to promote his album. The 28-year-old is expected to wrap up his gigs in Down Under on March 9, before heading to Singapore, Tokyo, U.K. and Canada. He recently took the stage of "So You Think You Can Dance" Australia performing single "Whataya Want From Me" .
