Miley Cyrus' co-star in romantic drama 'The Last Song' is in negotiations to star in a 3-D adventure that features characters like Sinbad, Ali Baba and the Genie from the magic lamp.

Liam Hemsworth is making a leap from romantic drama to action genre for his next movie project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the leading man of "
The Last Song" is in negotiations to star in Inferno Entertainment's 3-D adventure movie titled "
Arabian Nights".
Should he land the role, he will play the part of a young commander who, after his king is murdered in a coup, joins forces with Sinbad, Ali Baba and the Genie from the magic lamp to rescue the queen, Scheherazade. He will be directed by Chuck Russell and expected to join the production which eyed an end-of-summer shoot.
