Alexander Skarsgard and Tyrese Gibson are also making an appearance in the music video which takes nine minutes to view to its fullest.
Having been pushed back several times before, a music video for
Lady GaGa's "Telephone" finally arrives. Made in the form of cinematic video, it begins with shots of high-security jail before moving on with a scene in which the dance queen is being escorted to her prison cell and stripped down to her fishnet stockings.
Collaborator
Beyonce Knowles joins GaGa after she bails her out of prison. The "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" hitmaker picks the dance queen up using "P***y Wagon", the custom truck used by
Uma Thurman in
Quentin Tarantino's "
Kill Bill" movie. Other stars seen in the video include
Alexander Skarsgard and
Tyrese Gibson.
Shot by director Jonas Akerlund in a desert in Los Angeles, this video supports Lady GaGa's second single off "The Fame Monster". Described as "gritty, erotic and wildly fierce", it displays another of GaGa's bizarre outfits, hair-do and make-up. Sporting coke cans and telephone on her hair as well as wearing glasses made of burned cigarettes are some of the examples.
In an earlier interview with
Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio, the 23-year-old opened up about the video. "What I like about it is, it's a real true pop event," she said. "When I was younger I was always excited when there was a big giant event happening in pop music and that's what I wanted this to be."
