As words start to circulate that the two slow down their relationship after an alleged argument, Selena comes out with a denial over the romance itself saying, 'Nothing is going on with Nick Jonas.'
Although they have never confirmed that they are a couple,
Nick Jonas and
Selena Gomez have been hit with a split report. Celebrity blogger Zack Taylor has thrown in possibilities that the alleged couple could be over after hearing Selena said in a radio interview, "Nothing is going on with Nick Jonas."
Digging the story even further, Taylor claimed that the one-third of the
Jonas Brothers and the star of "Wizards of Waverly Place" decided to put a brake on their romance after a fight on March 7. "They had another huge argument the night of The Oscars," he quoted a source as reporting. "I think they are slowing [their relationship] down."
Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez were first reported to be dating in summer of 2008. While Jonas Brothers' representative was quick to shoot down the speculation stating the two were just friends, a source confirmed to People magazine the pair has been together for months. In February 2009, they were reported to have called off their romance.
In early 2010 however, Nick and Selena ignited rumors that they might have been together once again after they were spotted together at several occasions. 17-year-old Selena was seen joining the singer during his break while on tour with band Nick Jonas and The Administration in January. They arrived together at the "We Are the World" remake for Haiti relief, and had a bite together in Los Angeles in February.
