Narrated by producer Robert Rodriguez and presenting behind-the-scenes footage, the first look at the upcoming 'Predators' also offers a look at Laurence Fishburne and Alice Braga among others.
A sneak peek at "Predators" has been shown at SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas on Friday night, March 12, and 20th Century Fox has just made it available through the film's official site. Filled with intense scenes in which the human struggle for their survival, the video offers first look at Adrien Brody's Royce, Laurence Fishburne's Noland, Alice Braga's Isabelle and many others.
In addition to the short clips from the movie, the sneak peek also takes viewers to the set of the action sci-fi. It reels in many behind-the-scenes footage as the actors armed with heavy artillery stand guard. Guiding viewers on what to expect from this movie, producer Robert Rodriguez provided a narration for the video.
"Predators" follows Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they've been brought together on an alien planet as prey. With the exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers - mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members - that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.
Directed by Nimrod Antal, this action sci-fi movie was shot on location at Robert Rodriguez's Austin-based Troublemaker Studios. Topher Grace, Danny Trejo and Walton Goggins are among the cast ensemble. Fox has set the movie to be released in theaters across the U.S. on July 7.
