Angelina Jolie Not Johnny Depp's Type of Woman

A source close to Johnny says kissing Angelina Jolie for 'The Tourist' is the least exciting thing the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor will do all year.

Although it has been rumored that there are sparks flying between the two main stars of "The Tourist" on the set, Johnny Depp has no interest in romancing Angelina Jolie at all. OK! Magazine reported that the "Wanted (2008)" beauty is just not the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star's type of woman.

"Trust me, kissing Angelina Jolie on camera is the least exciting thing he'll do all year," a source who has worked closely with the 46-year-old actor told the publication. The source furthermore explained, "He likes to do movies that are a lot weirder... Johnny's dream co-star is someone more along the lines of Helen Mirren."

Previously, it was reported that Johnny's longtime partner Vanessa Paradis has asked the "Alice in Wonderland" actor to find another gig after learning that he will have to shoot a passionate love scene with Angelina. The New York Post reported that the 37-year-old singer is worried she will be left heartbroken.

OK! pointed out that Paradis is not the only one nervous about the partnering of the two Hollywood stars for the movie. Angelina's boyfriend Brad Pitt has reportedly chosen to stay in Venice because he feels threatened by Johnny. "Brad doesn't mean to act jealous," another source explained, "but he's not comfortable letting his woman get really close to one of the sexiest men alive."

In "The Tourist", Angelina Jolie will portray a female Interpol agent Cara Mason who uses Johnny Depp's American tourist character Frank Taylor as a dupe to flush out an elusive criminal with whom she once had an affair. Earlier, Life and Style magazine reported that a draft of writer Julian Fellowes' screenplay has revealed that Mason and Taylor will be seen getting cozy in a bathroom.
