Series co-creator Ryan Murphy also teases that he is planning to bring in Justin Timberlake, promising to 'work some magic' around the schedule of second season shooting for him.
Cheerios' head coach and Glee Club's arch-nemesis Sue Sylvester will get one famous partner to make out with in a future episode of "Glee". And, Kristin Dos Santos of E! News has just got the scoop on whom her partner will be from an interview with Ryan Murphy, the co-creator of FOX's acclaimed musical comedy.
[SPOILER ALERT!] In the episode directed by Joss Whedon, Sue's depicter
Jane Lynch will be seen swapping spits with none other than
Neil Patrick Harris. "[Neil] gets to tussle with Jane Lynch," Ryan teases on what to be expected from the episode, "and they might sleep together, but that's all I'm gonna say!"
The man behind "Nip/Tuck" elaborated, "It's a very great, sweet, important episode. We wrote it for Neil and for Joss. The whole episode is about arts funding and the importance of arts funding in high schools." On the character Neil will be portraying, he explained that although he is an old high school rival of
Matthew Morrison's Will, he "is not a villain", adding "he's just got edge, as they say."
During the interview, Ryan also admitted bringing in
Justin Timberlake is "in the plan". He added, "[Justin] is the one the kids jump up and down about every day and beg me to meet with him. I'm a huge fan of his music. I think he's so talented. And he's a true triple threat: He can sing, dance, and act. So yeah, we'd love to have him on. We start shooting the second season in July and I think I will work some magic around that time for him if I can."
"Glee" returns to the small screen for the remaining episodes of season 1 starting on April 13.
Lea Michele,
Cory Monteith,
Dianna Agron,
Chris Colfer,
Mark Salling and
Amber Riley are among the cast ensemble.
