Although slipping in the 'To Be Continued' graphic at the end of the Beyonce Knowles-featuring video, director Jonas Akerlund there is yet plan for a follow-up music video.
Sporting a "To Be Continued" graphic, the ending of
Lady GaGa's "Telephone" video has sparked speculation that there could be a sequel being planned. As many wonder whether a follow-up video is indeed being prepared, director Jonas Akerlund confessed to MTV News that neither he or the dance queen has thought off a sequel just yet.
Though so, Akerlund didn't completely ruled out the possibility. "As I said, we're very spontaneous. We'll see," the helmer stated before adding, "I mean, it'll be cool, but we just left the door open. So we'll see." He further mentioned that the inclusion of the graphic was his idea and GaGa didn't mind with it. "I put it in post and then nobody said to take it out. So, it stayed in," so he claimed.
The director who worked on
Madonna's "Ray of Light" video went on to praise GaGa. "Gaga's a little different because she has, like, the first [idea], which makes my job easier," he said. "She always has the first couple [ideas] to tell you. So, based on what she tells me, I write a treatment, she has comments on it. So that's how we go into the ideas. She's boiling. Her brain is amazing. She's filled with ideas."
made its way out last Thursday, March 11. Displaying the dance queen's bizarre outfits, hair-do and make-up throughout, it features collaborator
Beyonce Knowles as well as cameos by
Alexander Skarsgard and
Tyrese Gibson. It was a sequel to GaGa's "Paparazzi" video.
