Insisting that the 'Bad Romance' singer is 'totally fine', Michael Coppel explains, 'It was warm at the show, she was tired and bit dehydrated by the end of a two-hour plus performance.'
Days after
Lady GaGa was seen on the brink of collapsing on-stage during her Auckland, New Zealand gig, her tour promoter came forward to give proper explanation behind her lethargic performance. Insisting that the dance queen is "totally fine", spokesperson Michael Coppel blamed her near-passed out moment as result of fatigue and heat.
"It was warm at the show, she was tired and bit dehydrated by the end of a two-hour plus performance," Coppel stated. He went on to say that the "Poker Face" hitmaker pushed through the next performance without a hitch. "She performed the second Auckland show the following night without an issue and will be back in full match fitness for her first Australian show," so he claimed.
GaGa sparked worries among fans over her health condition after when performing a number at Vector Arena on Saturday, March 13 surfaced. Delivering her hit song "Bad Romance", the 23-year-old later on was seen sitting down on the steps before finishing the song while lying on her back. It was mentioned that many were passing out from dehydration due to the hot conditions in the venue.
This is not the first time the dance queen has sparked concern over her health. In January, she was forced to cancel her performance in West Lafayette, Indiana on January 14 after experiencing shortness of breath and an accelerated heartbeat. "Paramedics came to take care of me, and told me my heart-rate was irregular -- a result of exhaustion and dehydration. can't apologize enough for how sorry I am," she tweeted at the time.
