Dakota Fanning Cute in Nude for 'The Runaways' New York Premiere

Joining co-star Kristen Stewart on the black carpet, the actress who stars as Cherie Currie in the biopic steals the spotlight in her nude-colored baby doll cocktail dress.

Dakota Fanning has brought lightness to the New York City premiere of "The Runaways". The 16-year-old actress hit the black carpet rolled out in front of Landmark Sunshine Cinema on Wednesday, March 17, looking cute in a nude hand-embroidered baby doll cocktail dress with cap sleeves by Elie Saab.

Striking poses for the press line on the black carpet, the "Twilight Saga" actress was joined by co-star Kristen Stewart who rocked a strapless Pucci mini-dress and Sergio Rossi heels. She also managed to pose with the real-life rocker she played in the movie Cherie Currie, in addition to Joan Jett and director Floria Sigismondi.

Also spotted attending the premiere was two of her other co-stars, Michael Shannon who plays band manager Kim Fowley, and Riley Keough who stars as Cherie's twin Marie. Other guest celebrities present on the special night were Alessandra Ambrosio, Chloe Sevigny, Julianne Moore and Kirstie Alley.

"The Runaways" is a biopic that will follow Joan Jett and Cherie Currie as they navigate a rocky road of touring and record label woes. They also have to deal with their abusive manager, all in while their teen years. Having been premiered at the 26th Sundance Film Festival on January 24, it will have its limited release in the U.S. on March 19 before going wide on April 9.
