Although admitting that 'nudity in a film is something that does turn me off', the Alice Cullen of the 'Twilight Saga' series says she will do it if she believes in the role.
Ashley Greene has weighed on whether she will be seen taking it all off on the big screen. While promoting her upcoming indie "
Skateland" at the 2010 SXSW Festival in Austin, the actress known for her role as Alice Cullen in "Twilight Saga" admitted that she has no interest to appear naked in a movie, but "will never say never".
"I will say, at this moment, nudity in a film is something that does turn me off because of the context that it's put in in most of the films. It exploits women, and it's not artistic at all," the 23-year-old told MTV News. Though so, she was quick to say, "I won't say that, down the years, if I find a character and it's absolutely necessary and it tells a story, I wouldn't nix it because of that."
The actress who stars in "
The Apparition" was previously seen showing off a little skin in an ad campaign for SoBe Lifewater's Wearing Zero. She was captured trading real swimsuits with painted ones as she poses in two different scaly "skinsuits" which were done by make-up artist Joanne Gair for for the ads.
Recently seen reprising Alice in "
The Twilight Saga's New Moon, Ashley has completed the filming for "
The Twilight Saga's Eclipse". Sharing about how she chooses her movie roles, she said, "My biggest criteria is to be able to read a script and really care about the characters and be affected by them and want to know what they're doing and what happens to them next."
