Instead of coming out in April as what has been suggested earlier, the 'Candyman' singer's fourth album is reportedly delayed until 'July or beyond'.
Christina Aguilera's upcoming studio album "Bionic" won't be hitting the shelves this April as what has been suggested earlier. It has been given another push back to summer for the very least. In a new Spring music feature of Rolling Stone magazine, the upcoming set from the "Candyman" singer has been listed under the category "July and Beyond."
It wasn't the first time, "Bionic" is delayed from its planned released. In late January, it was reported that the album was pushed back for a month. Though so, there were no exact date as well as explanation behind the delay mentioned at the time. It was said though that the first single "Glam" would be released in February.
"Bionic" will be Christina's first album in nearly four years. The title of the album and the name of three new songs were revealed by the Grammy-winning singer in the February 2010 issue of Marie Claire magazine. In late January, new track "Lift Me Up" was performed during "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon.
Christina has recently finished filming her first starring part in an upcoming movie titled "
Burlesque". Beside taking on the lead role, the 29-year-old songstress will also contribute to the soundtrack. She has worked with singer-songwriter Sia Furler for a toe-tapping track called "Spotlight".
