Short while after it was unraveled that Sandra learned about her husband's alleged affair from her publicist, he issues an apology and says he hopes one day she and his kids can forgive him.

Sandra Bullock and his three children for their heartbreak.
"This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them," the 40-year-old said as referring to his affair rumor in the statement sent to People magazine. "I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me."
Although taking full responsibility for his actions, Jesse insisted, "The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded." He added, "Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment. There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It's because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way."
Words has been running wild earlier that Michelle has told former boss Danielle Dee Madrano that Jesse's marriage to Sandra was simply for publicity. "She told me that Jesse's marriage to Sandra Bullock was for publicity, and that's why he did Donald Trump's show 'The Celebrity Apprentice'," Danielle told Radar Online. "He never called on Sandra for money or influence because their marriage was a sham she said."
PopEater, in the meantime, reported on how Sandra learned about the affair. "In Touch magazine had called Sandra's publicist Monday morning to let her know the magazine was going to print an explosive cover story ... saying her husband was cheating," so claimed an insider. "At first, camp Sandra dismissed the story until they understood that the magazine had the alleged mistress, tattoo model Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee, on the record telling all."
A friend of the actress chimed in, "Sandra had no idea that all of this was going on. Not a clue." The pal went on, "Now she is with family hoping for privacy. It's bad enough for any woman to find out that her husband has been cheating on her, but to find out from your publicist and then have it on the cover of a national magazine is heartbreaking."
