In the freshly-released clip from the upcoming episode of the Disney series, the Colombian singer gets to sing a duet of her new single 'Gypsy' with star Selena Gomez.
A sneak peek at the upcoming episode of "Wizards of Waverly Place" which features Shakira has been shared. Around 30-second in length, the short clip unravels the scene wherein the Columbian singer and series star Selena Gomez sing a duet of "Gypsy", a new single from her latest album "She Wolf".
The episode titled "Dude Looks Like Shakira" is scheduled to air on April 16. In it, Alex, Justin and Max are shocked to discover that the Russo family's Uncle Kelbo has magically transformed himself into Shakira after failing to follow the rules set by the Main Eleven Wizards. Now, it is up to the three of them to turn him back to his old self.
Selena Gomez has earlier talked about Shakira's cameo on the show. "She was really nice and she was really funny," the 17-year-old praised the singer. "So the role was her playing herself, obviously, and I got to sing a song with her as well." Shakira herself opened up about the part when met on the set in December 2009. "Shakira doesn't really exist. She's one of Kelbo's creations. It's a complicated thing," she said.
