Admitting that he has yet to hear any of the songs from the Girls Aloud's member, the music producer would consider making sweet music with her based on what he has seen.
Mark Ronson has expressed his interest in teaming up with
Girls Aloud's member
Cheryl Cole. At the official launch of Trekstock charity in association with zavvi.com, he confessed that he has yet to hear any of the 26-year-old's songs, but would consider a collaboration based on what he has seen of her.
"I know what she looks like, and I know everyone wants to work with her," the 34-year-old guitarist/music producer told BANG showbiz. "So maybe if I heard her stuff first, yeah I'd work with her." He isn't the first musician setting eyes on the "Fight for This Love" singer though.
Jay-Z and
Rihanna have also stated they would love to help Cheryl in launching her career in the U.S.
Mark also used the occasion to talk about his third solo album "Mark Ronson and The Business". "I'm glad to finally have finished my new album," he said. "I've been working on it constantly since last July. It's been tough. I've collaborated with a band called
The View,
Boy George, Wiley. I don't remember them all, actually. But I hope everyone likes it."
Cheryl, on the other hand, has stated that she would love to have a chance to work with
Take That's singer and songwriter Gary Barlow. "I would love to work with Gary. I think he's a fantastic lyricist," she said. She also praised his band saying, "You have to hand it to Take That. They're amazing entertainers with fantastic songs and great characters."
