The 'Slumdog Millionaire' beauty reportedly signs a multi-million pound deal to star as Daniel Craig's love interest in 'Bond 23', while Olivia Wilde has been approached for another Bond girl role.
Having been long rumored for a role in "Bond 23",
Freida Pinto has recently been reported to have landed the part of the next Bond girl. According to The Daily Mirror, the "
Slumdog Millionaire" beauty has signed a "multi-million pound deal" to star opposite
Daniel Craig as one of James Bond's love interests.
A source claimed that the 24-year-old actress agreed to do the part after being approached by director Sam Mendes. "Sam has been talking about Bond for months now and is so excited about it," the source shared. "The project has been in the pipeline for months and Freida was always the dream Bond girl, but initially she was nervous about accepting it."
Of the role the BAFTA-winning Indian actress could be seen seen portraying, the source stated that it will be "a typically glamorous and raunchy role". What's more, her actor boyfriend
Dev Patel allegedly is thrilled with her landing the high-profile role. "Dev has been joking to friends he is cool with seeing Freida rolling around with 007," so the source claimed.
Freida is not the only actress closely linked to the follow-up to "
Quantum of Solace". Words on the street are, "

Olivia Wilde has been approached to play another Bond girl role as well. It is said that the actress known as Thirteen in "House M.D." will take on double-crossing U.N. worker based in Afghanistan.
"Bond 23" itself is said to be "the most ambitious 007 yet". A source told Mirror that director Sam Mendes "plans to reinvent the genre," adding "Peter Morgan, who wrote '
The Queen', has penned the first draft of the script and it promises to be visually stunning."
Judi Dench has confirmed her return to reprise her role of MI6 chief "M", and shooting reportedly eyes to start at the end of 2010.
