Among the 25,000 people taking part in the Los Angeles marathon, the 'Transformers' star finishes the 26.2-mile trek behind Andy Baldwin of 'The Bachelor' and Gordon Ramsay of 'Hell's Kitchen'.
"Transformers" star Shia LaBeouf has completed the 26.2-mile trek of the Los Angeles Marathon. Starting off his run from Dodger Stadium at 7:48 A.M. along with nearly 25,000 runners on Sunday morning, March 21, the 23-year-old actor crossed the finish line at the Santa Monica Pier in 4 hours and 35 minutes.
Wearing a white sleeveless shirt and a pair of running tights, the actor who will be seen in "Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps" ran on behalf of U.S. veterans. Placed #5825, he came behind Andy Baldwin of "The Bachelor" and Gordon Ramsay of "Hell's Kitchen". Still, he beat "Lord of the Rings" star Sean Astin, who finished in 5 hours and 16 minutes. "The Hills" star Audrina Patridge also got to finish the race, although her time was not immediately available. After finishing her run, the 24-year-old shared her experience through her Twitter page writing, "just ran trhu the finish line w/all the sunshine kids!!!.... morgan and i finished 1st mile 7 min 30 sec and walked last."
Cheering from checkpoints along the route were such celebrities as Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Allison Iraheta, in the meantime, helped to kick off the annual event by singing the national anthem. Hours later, she tweeted, "Had much fun!! Thanks again!! Wish I was runnin' but then again.....the pain the next day .. Is not fun.. Haha I'm good."
