Robert Pattinson Has Proposed to Kristen Stewart Countless Times

While Kristen earlier said that Robert has asked her hand in marriage as a joke, insiders claim that the 'Twilight Saga' heartthrob is actually 'just waiting for her to say yes.'

Rumor has it, Robert Pattinson has asked Kristen Stewart's hand in marriage for more than once. According to the National Enquirer, the Edward Cullen of the forthcoming "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" is desperate to marry his 20-year-old co-star and has proposed to her "countless times already".

"Rob is so love with Kristen, he has proposed to her countless times already," an insider told the publication. "He's just waiting for her to say yes." The inside source added that the star of "The Runaways" is likely to agree to marry him, considering that "they believe they're soul mates and want to be together forever." The source went on, "They're just really happy they've found each other."

Earlier this month, Kristen admitted to News of the World that Robert has indeed popped the question. Still, she was quick to add that it was a joke. "He asked me to marry him," she said. "As a joke, though. Well, at least I think so!" During the interview, she also explained why she loves the British actor, gushing "I LOVE Rob because he always wants to be the best."

"He can be very childish," Kristen continued. "When Rob does something right or wins something he talks with a different, little voice - like a five-year-old." Explaining his attraction, she said, "Rob is sexy, in a tortured artist way. This might be because he's British. He's tall, looks like he's thinking all the time and is incredibly funny."
