Accused of Teen Battery, Jodie Foster Claims Report a 'Fabrication'

Denying allegations that she attacked a 17-year-old outside an L.A. shopping center, the Oscar winner has through her representative stated, 'This guy was most definitely a professional paparazzo'.

Accused of attacking a 17-year-old who tried to take photographs of her and her children outside an L.A. shopping center, Jodie Foster has come out with a denial over the allegation. Representative for the "Panic Room" star told People magazine that the police report filed by the teenager is "a fabrication of the incident".

Furthermore, the 47-year-old actress also accused the teenager of being a professional paparazzi. Her representative told the mag, "This guy was most definitely a professional paparazzo. He had a large camera bag and 1000mm telephoto lens. He tailed Jodie and followed her all the way from the movie theater to the valet."

Contrary to the claim that the teenager approached Jodie for a photo, the Oscar-winning actress alleged that the teen had been following her for a while. "He crowded her and her two young children and took photos of them the whole time," her rep said in defense. "This guy's behavior was completely inappropriate, and the police report is a fabrication of the incident."

In a police report obtained by Radar Online, it was noted that the incident occurred between 1:50 P.M. And 2:00 P.M. on May 29. About the incident, the father of the teen told Radar, "Jodie Foster attacked my son at the parking lot at The Grove. Jodie pushed and shoved him leaving scratches and bruises on his arm."

Offering more details, the man who wished to remain anonymous went on, "My son was at The Grove with his girlfriend and they were going to see a movie. He saw Jodie Foster and is a big fan so went over and took a picture of her." He continued, "She came after him, poked him in the chest and said, 'Do you even have a mother you slime ball?' "

The father further shared that his son has apologized profusely to the "Inside Man" actress. "He didn't mouth back at all and was scared of her," the man added. "At one point Jodie's son even came over to my son and apologized. Her kids were really embarrassed."
