Although she insists she doesn't want and doesn't have to bare all, the 'She Wolf' singer doesn't rule out that one day she may change her mind on stripping off her clothes.
won't pose naked - for now. The sexy singer, who appeared in a skin-tight body and danced in a cage in her "She Wolf" video, is too shy to bare all for a photo shoot but admits she may change her mind one day.
"I don't want to and I don't have to. I couldn't strip naked. Maybe when I'm 40 I will change my mind," the 33-year-old pop star said. "Around 10 years ago I couldn't imagine putting on a skin-tight body suit and high heels and dancing in a golden cage, hanging upside down from the bars. Today I'm saying I'll never show myself naked. Our opinions change all the time."
Shakira, who is in a long-term relationship with Antonio De La Rua, thinks her reluctance to strip off is grounded in her Catholic upbringing in Columbia. She added in an interview with Tagesspiegel, "I was brought up in a very Catholic environment. My father has Lebanese roots. I grew up on the North coast of Columbia where life is quite traditional. There are things I'm not courageous enough to do."
