Chace Crawford Spotted Partying in London Post Pot Arrest

After two weeks of laying low following his arrest for pot possession, the 'Gossip Girl' heartthrob is seen enjoying a night-out in London, going from a pub to glitzy party to nightclub on one night.

Just weeks after being arrested for pot possession, Chace Crawford has been spotted having some fun in London. On Thursday night, June 17, the Nate Archibald of "Gossip Girl" kicked off his night-out by dining with Matthew Morrison at director Guy Ritchie's pub in Mayfair, Punch Bowl.

The 24-year-old actor and the "Glee" star then headed to a pre-Wimbledon bash at the Kensington Roof Gardens. There, they mingled with other celebrities attending which included "90210" star Jessica Lowndes, "Get Him to the Greek" actor Russell Brand and tennis star Maria Sharapova. They didn't stop the party there as they headed off to Boujis nightclub later on.

Chace was arrested by the police on June 4 for carrying less than 2 ounces of marijuana. It was reported that the TV actor was caught rolling a joint while sitting in the driver's seat of a friend's 2003 Nissan 350Z when an officer approached him during a routine check. On June 11, he was officially charged with a single misdemeanor count which maximum sentence includes six months behind bars.

A source close to the star of "Twelve" recently shared to Us Magazine about how Dana and Chris, the actor's parents, reacted upon learning about his arrest. "His mom called him crying," said the insider. "He comes from a very good family, and his parents were so upset that his mugshot was everywhere."

The inside source, who described Chace's family as "upper middle class", furthermore assured that Dana and Chris "ultimately did believe him when he explained the joint 'wasn't his'." Though so, the source made note that "they were still unhappy to have their son's name associated with drugs."
