Accused of beating up real estate appraiser Amado Aguirre, former Spice Girls member Melanie Brown and husband Stephen Belafonte are facing over 1.4 million dollar lawsuit.

Spice Girls member, who was known as "Scary Spice" during her years in the group, and her husband Stephen Belafonte are accused of beating up real estate appraiser Amado Aguirre after mistaking him for a paparazzi photographer.
The incident is said to have taken place last December when Amado was taking pictures of a house he needed to value when the couple and an employee, Amin Zahedi, intimidated him and physically injured him, leaving Amado with a broken hand and neck and back injuries.
According to TMZ, the plaintiff is demanding $350,000 in general damages, $35,000 in medical expenses and $100,000 for loss of future earnings, $1 million in punitive damages and $10 for lost earnings.
Mel B married Stephen in 2007 and currently lives in Los Angeles with her two children from previous relationships and her stepdaughter.
