The first look at Emma as she portrays Molly, the only person in the Joel Schumacher drama that's not falling for drugs and alcohol, has been shared through a new still.
First look at
Emma Roberts's portrayal of Molly in upcoming drama "
Twelve" has come out through a brand new still. Dressed in a plaid purple and white blouse, the 19-year-old niece of actress
Julia Roberts is putting up a serious face as she brings to life the only pure friend of White Mike.
Talking about her character recently, the Jill Kessler of "
Scream 4" told Just Jared Jr., "My character is named Molly and she's basically the moral center of the movie." She went on to describe, "She's kind of the only person that's not falling down this destructive path of drugs and alcohol and all that kind of stuff and it's kind of refreshing in a movie like this to see at least one person restraining from all that."
Based on Nick McDonell's novel of the same name, "Twelve" follows a high school dropout-turned-drug dealer named Mike in New York's Upper East Side. His lucrative life sours when the dealer's cousin is brutally murdered on an East Harlem playground and his best friend is arrested for the crime.
In addition to Emma, the cast ensemble are formed by Rory Culkin,
50 Cent, Emily Meade,
Ellen Barkin,
Kiefer Sutherland and "Gossip Girl" hunk
Chace Crawford among others. Hannover House will release this drama movie in limited theaters across the United States on July 30.
